She ideally needs to present her bank statement showing the POF for her and dependants in the for 28-30days.
So if you haven't started counting please do so now, you can't apply for your visa until have fulfilled this condition.

You can use your statement, I think spouses can also sponsor, you should include a cover letter saying you are sponsoring her studies when she applies.

I sent port photograph, but someone here just told me it was meant to be international port.

As a norm they won't attend to someone without a booking but since it is a baby, they will most likely make an exception.

I don't think there's cause for worry. About three people have mentioned that they got nsf requesting for nothing and the last visa alert got the same nsf too. So no worries.
