A Whatapp group is more enclosed and you can find direct answers to queries easily. However, you can be added to an existing group and exit later at your discretion. This is only important at this time

The strike has prevented me from moving forward. Rather than being at school learning, all I do is stay at home, wake, sleep, and engage myself in issues that are none of my business in the first place, so i change my mine to search for a scholarship on the following site. try your luck is genuine.

Same pattern every year, it seems every time PTDF goes quiet the scholarship thread turns toxic. False information, anxiety, and personal attacks. Glad they made a move so we can move on from the speculations and insults.

I really hope they make the final list expeditiously so this years awardees can start in September. There really isn't a reason to take so much time after the interview to come up with their list. Anything south of July is ominous.

For those who haven't applied for ission, especially the UK and Malaysia applicants, don't shoot yourselves in the foot. You can walk and chew gum at the same time. and is a whole other can of worms though.

Can you expatiate this? should we go ahead to apply to the schools even before the interview.?

The final list probably wont come out until the end of July, and thats me being optimistic. ission for some schools may have been closed by then, most top schools are already closing. Then factor the time it takes to process ission, plus CAS, plus PTDF Bureaucracy and Visa. Best to already have a few ission letters in place.

When you open the PTDF Scholarship web page, there's a live chat prompt at the bottom left corner, alternatively at the bottom of the page there are a few options there. The WhatsApp seems to be very active. Response times may vary.

Not yet. Most universities have a deferral deadline and it tends to be towards the end of August. them about what their deadline is and if we begin to approach the deadline and the final list hasn't been released yet then apply for a deferral.

That's your prerogative. You can choose not to apply for ission yet or if you already have one apply for deferral.

Of course all these hypotheticals are contingent on securing the scholarship which is the most important thing. to temper your expectations; Making it to the interview means that your chances of success are about 10% given you'll be competing with give or take 40 people from your state for four slots based on historical patterns. At least one spot is reserved for female applicants so for a male it's actually 3 slots. Goes without saying it's incredibly competitive.

Don't mean to be a party pooper but, don't get too excited yet.
