Sincerely, Nigerians are madder than most. We have gotten so used to doing stuff that could land us in jail in other climes that we see doing good as wrong and stupid and see doing bad as right and justified.

Here's a guy -GloriousGbola- trying to restore sanity on this thread and ensure that sellers sell things at clearance prices and don't engage in false advertising and some people here are abusing him and ganging up on him for sticking his head up and daring to do what is good. We Nigerians want good things, but doing good and being good is clearly not something we are prepared to do. And then we will go on Twitter to wail about how bad the country is becoming.

If s/he was the one that built the cabinets and the landlord or new tenant is not ready to reimburse him/her, I see no reason why s/he shouldn't.

Reminds me of a particular house I wanted to rent in the suburbs of Lagos last year. The landlady sparingly finished the house - no single painting, no single wardrobe in the 3 rooms, the ONLY thing in the kitchen (which was very large) was just an inferior fragile small sink that can't even comfortably sit two flat ceramic plates placed side by side, the surrounding was bushy (agent said tenants would be fumigating the surrounding regularly to prevent the grass from growing fasting as the landlady was not ready to german-floor or put interlocking on the ground yet), can't even whether the interiors were tiled sef.

When I calculated the additional costs of bringing the house up to my habitable standard, plus the annual recurring costs of maintaining the environment, it was almost 3X the cost of the rent. It was a lot of costs for a landlord to on to a tenant. I had to japaa o...lol

If I were to be leaving that kind of house, I will definitely take all of my wardrobes and cabinets with me. If I could even take the paintings with me, I would...

I'm surprised to in to see all these banter up and down. I am the person that bought the jug. Actually I own a ninja blender which I bought recently and I love the product. So when I saw this heat resistant jug with the same brand name, I was intrigued.. I chatted her up and surprisingly she lives closer to me and I went there this morning to buy one for myself.
