Rules are rules for a purpose,online and offline. These people can get any record they want.

Pls during holidays can one work more than 20hrs? And what about those working under NHS are they exempted in this 20hrs rules?

Maintenance fee is usually calculated thus:
9207 pounds for principal applicant, if you are living outside London.
6207 pounds for each dependants.
LONDON : £12,200, £8000 for dependants.

IHS is calculated based on course duration.
You can use dollar equivalent, say for 12months course ( between $975- $1005).
13-16months ( between $1300- $1450)
Although, there are times UKVI calculate it and dependants do not pay up to the principal applicant.

It’s not just him. A lot of people are getting denied now just because of over 20hrs. This is a very serious issue . Please let’s be guided. The 20hrs is taken very seriously by UKVI in granting the PSW visa .

I went there on Thursday and d earliest date available that day was Monday 25th. when you go and you show them evidence that you are running out of time they might be able to help. ( i picked 28th cos i will be out of town till then )

Online application can be quite frustrating most times. This was how I went about mine.

Simply apply via email - it's easier and hassle-free. Simply introduce yourself and state these on the body of the mail:

1. Full name
2. Your traveling destination
3. port number
4. Phone number
5. Your booked date for the test
6. The specific time for the test

If you're booking along with dependents, include their info for (1, 3 and 4 above)

the following:
1. port (data page)
2. Offer letter
3. BSc cert

You'll receive an email within 48hrs detailing the your booking with your reference number and the specified amount you'll pay with bank details to pay into.

Or is anyone here advocating for free education from the Uni?
A student with £15k tuition, and owing only £800 at the end of his or her program should not withdrawn at that stage. He or she can always settle the debt b4 leaving the school or graduating.

And I'm not talking about those who didn't plan and have huge bills to settle. I'm talking about this £800 case. Simple!


It's exploitation and nothing more

1. You have to understand that before you went to the embassy for the visa, you declared that you have the money to pay for your full tuition.
2. You and the school agreed to pay your tuition through installments. And if there are 4 installments to pay and you have defaulted on the second installment, what is the probability you can pay the rest .
3. If said the student can settle his/her debt before leaving the school or graduating. How will you do that if for a whole year you weren't about to get the fees. , once you graduate you have limited number of days to stay in the UK.
4. If you think they are exploiting you cause you own £800 and got dismissed, then go to schools in Europe that are tuition free. No one is forcing any of us to go and study in the UK.
