Thanks. I will try portharcourt.. Another question please, a friend said I should not pay online, I should go with the money, that if I pay online, if I go there, they will still ask for more money
Akwukalia:

From a reliable source, i suggest you use Enugu or Awka(Anambra state). But I'd advice you to use Enugu since they now have production plant.
Don't try Delta or Edo else you will wait till eternity even if you go the express way. Those people are so corrupt and heartless, avoid them

Lol grin, I noticed you and Aieromon refused to respond to the constant posts and insistence from him that the enrolment slip was important. I liked you guys cool headed-ness in the face of i know it all.

if the slips aren't important how do you then get your port out?
My knowing so much and contributes so much more trouble's you?
i read and research a lot, it might take you several year's to catch up on those things i know.

Don't do that, you will not be attended to because your payment may be unverifiable. I tried this twice, it did not work. You will only succeed on your capture date

Thank you. So appointment day means day of capture?

You were too much in people's faces with the whole enrolment slip thing. You said your piece once, you should have left it at that.

But jumping into almost every conversation and posts directed at other people (not you) was quite frankly becoming annoying and one post in particular which you directed @ Aieromon had a rude and I too know tone to it.

You can be helpful without the overbearing attitude, you only succeed in getting on people's nerves with that attitude. Why do you think bfn1's last response to you has 6 likes? Abeg rest

You can easily glide over whatever you do not agreed with,if anyone mentioned my moniker and i think it's worthwhile replying to,why won't i?
No one get paid for his/her contribution here,we are only trying to give back to where we have all benefited from,if i then tell the truth to people and tell them to insist on those things at the point of capturing anything wrong in that?
I am always courteous in my dealing but if anyone trying to malign me either directly or subtly i won't let it slide, reason for whatever cheeky reply i give to people

(Answer:
Just Complain To NIMC...)
..
A lot of Nigerians, and Nairalanders are going through this wahalla at the moment
..
If you already have your NIN-Number with you,, but whenever you take the NIN-Number to the Bank, they would always tell you to go back to the NIMC and tell them to Validate your NIN-Number and add it to the NIN-Database on the NIMC Computer.
..
This is what you would do...
..
Send an email to [email protected] with a copy-to cc.. to [email protected] and [email protected]....
..
Put the subject as “VALIDATE MY NIN-NUMBER”.
Then give them your “full name” and the NIN-Number that is to be validated.
..
..
(Try this first, then come back and thank me later)

Herein lies your problem! Even when your moniker is not mentioned or directly asked a question, you still jump in with the attitude.

No, you are not always courteous. I have seen it for myself in how you interacted with bfn1 and Aieromon. Why do you think they ignored your first mentions of them?

No one on this thread has maligned you. As far as I know your attention was called to posts made by other s, to show that your perception and the reality about the enrolment slip is different. How is that malignant?

What do I call your comment that lead to this if not malignment, you do not need to go there are reawakened a dead topic since those guys have choosed to go silent, you should have let it go and allow the public to run with whatever they read here.
You coming here to stir up the hornet nest means i won't be courteous with comment like yours.
Your problem with the bolded is that you think people are in competition here,i am sorry to say that i am not in competition with anyone, i only genuinely give back to what has improved my knowledge of things and if you have a problem with that i don't have an apology.
Moving ooonnnn

Your aproko plus busybody of jumping into conversations where you are not called or mentioned (with attitude) is the reason why you and I are here.

Did I quote you this afternoon? My comment was made to someone else but in your usual I too know and aproko self, you jumped in with more of the Sabina (oversabi) attitude

Pls move on with all your might and the nonsense attitude.

If you didn't mentioned me i do I get to see your comment?
Obviously you set out to cause disaffection,we know people like you

Hey guys, how is it going? Just wanted to give my experience.

My port expired 2 years ago (2020) so I applied for port renewal on 14th February 2022, 10 years 64 pages (N72k). I used DIY (Ikoyi Office), the earliest date was 22nd of March so I picked it.

I went to the NIS on the day of capture I started out at Servicom, verified my NIN opened my file, etc. Afterwards I left Servicom and I verified my online payment. Then I proceeded to complete my capture.

I asked the official at Servicom when my port would be ready and she said 6 - 8 weeks. Some days afterwards I tried checking via the portal on the site for my port status but it didn't work; I strongly suspect the portal is only for immigration officials.

I went there yesterday (9 working days after capture) to try my luck and it turned out my port was ready! The Date of Issue read 30th March (6 days after capture). I didn't sort anyone to get my port faster, so it seems the system worked for me. The officials themselves were surprised it came out so quickly, they suspected it's because it was the 10 year port.

When unsure of anything, be sure to ask any immigration officials you see around there; they were very helpful whenever I sought out help with information.

The information on this thread was really helpful so I'd like to thank everyone for that.

Thanks!

Congrats, did you pay online? What documents were requested?

Hello,

Pls anyone here who has done renewal of their port at the NIS office Abuja? What's your experience and requirements needed?
samoinc10: 4:03pm On Apr 07, 2022
Honeysweetest:
go to there website and start the process,is 25k,but if you are in a haste,go to the office, hold 40-60k, it will still not come out immediately https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/

Are those same documents for fresh port application required for someone who is renewing?

You won't need a guarantor, unless they have changed, they still have your details from the old one anyway.

what you need will be stated on the site, renewal don't always have a complete document like fresh port, but just have your birth certificate Incase, especially if you are doing online,so there won't be reason for extortion.
