You don't need to be afraid. Your POF is already verified hence the medical request which was sent. Has it been it was an upfront medical, would have asked you pray that they don't request for updated SOA. But as it is now, your ppl is on the way.

I researched on Diploma in Social work and discovered that Canada only recognizes Social Work as an accredited course at either Bachelor level or Masters Level... They don't acknowledge Diploma (PGD) in social work as an accredited course, according to their accreditation board. This is very sad. It's only when u top up your Diploma with a Masters degree in Social Work that you'll be accredited as a social worker in Canada. That country is too tough with procedures.

Please how did you apply the second time? Did you use the old portal or new?

1st application July 2021
Refusal cake in on 6th October 2021 after waiting. I had to defer my ission. I had already started classes oo. The bad news came in in the middle of a particular class and I want blank for 10 minutes, exited the zoom class and cried to my satisfaction. I ordered GCMS Notes same day through a friend in Canada who was following up with me on my application.

GCMS came after 1 month and I realized IRCC messed up my application.

They mentioned sponsor when I didn't have any.
They said I had lump sum when I showed certificate of fixed deposit and told them the date it liquidated.
They didn't even acknowledge the 45% upfront school fees I paid (I think they already made a decision before I sent in the payment receipt)


I had to of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant after my GCMS came in because I wasn't ready for the emotional stress of opening and refreshing IRCC portal and my email for update, he scheduled a zoom meeting with me and after reading through my GCMS Notes and listening to me, he said he'll have recommended a JR because the refusal grounds were baseless however, to save me time, money and stress, he recommended a reapplication.

I lost interest in online classes so I kuku deferred my ission.
I don move out funds buy market from fixed deposit sef so I kuku defer.

I started working on my POF immediately. I ensured large sums entered my personal from everywhere and moved out and targeted March for submission of a fresh Application.

Scenario 1

So, my tuition for 1 year is 13000cad. Living expenses is 10,000cad by default. I have 20,000cad available from my business and 200,000naira available on my salary with good inflows too.
My first semester tuition is 7000cad.
Should I pay for my first semester tuition and do my visa application with what I have now? Or


Scenario 2
Should I wait to end of April to add more funds from my business to make it 23,000cad, Salary to 500k, Pay for first semester tuition and then apply by first week of May?

Scenario 3

Should I just apply with the POF I have available now without paying for first semester tuition fee?

Scenario 4

Should I just defer my ission and save up at least 50,000cad to have enough money for my POF before applying again?

This so called agents ehn. You can try the countries in the EU(especially the small countries that don't share details with Canada).

You can also try UK too, but them go put eye for your file since they'll have the details of your Canadian ban. I heard a story of someone who got banned by Canada and got a UK visa(or UK ban, Canada visa. I don't really ).

Please for your next application to any country, do it yourself or be more involved in the application. And get genuine statement of s too.

I can't think of any other negative one. Others are plus because it would likely be cheaper and you are likely to graduate early. It is also a good one to graduate as soon as possible because experience is generally more valuable than study.

The family you're referring to, is it your own immediate family or parents/sibling's. Your immediate family is your strongest home tie in addition to other home ties such as job, assets etc. So do well to include them as your home tie even your extended family too especially parents.

Many have gotten approval without attaching a quantity surveyors evaluation report considering the cost of their services. You may do well to just swear an affidavit of fact to state that such property is yours and quote the price in the affidavit. But whereby you can afford their services, do well to get it. But note that having it or not does not dictate the direction your application will go.

Also, that would be $23k which is not readily available. Only $20k is available at the moment. $26k will be available by first week of June but school resumes in September which i think is late already.

After submission, medical update and eligibility … Silence. I ordered cbsa/gcms notes in jan,it came out in February. Pre-assessment notes said “further review of fathers first”… I assumed it was review of my dads first bank statement. I panicked a little after looking at the statement again and saw some unexplained transactions with large amounts but it’s not foreign to the . I even mailed makano (thank you for responding) as i was drafting the LOE, he thought I should just leave it, I thought about it logically and left it … anyway I left it and kept on the wait. Emailed MP,nothing much different from the notes- “eligibility undergoing further verification”. After that I locked up,middle of March I ordered another gcms notes,it’s still not out yet.
I planned a short vacation with my friends and took my mind off, only checked portal once while I was away. I noticed the “date modified” at the bottom of the page changed from 2022-01-18 (date medical ed) to 2022-03-15 I took that as my own ghost update. Lol I really don’t know if it means anything but hey anything to encourage while waiting hey.
On the 31st I emailed MP again,the person that replied was asking me for postal code, long thing. On the 1st I tried again,no reply yet. At 7:10pm as I was about to hop into the shower getting ready for Friday turn up, I saw 2 emails pop up on my laptop. I started shaking,wore boubou and ran to look for daddy (he was supposed to be home) to hold my hand to while I opened portal. Lol dramatic much?

Now my study permit application watch has ended. I wish everyone waiting the best of luck. I’m not leaving here, as this place was such a big part of my application and waiting process.
