Go back to your online form,Top at the extreme right corner you will find a seal that is written PAID once there you see that you can print out your form and generate your payment receipt on immigration portal too.

I had such an issue once with Remita and Access Bank. Turned out the money did not get to Remita and Access Bank had already reversed the money. I was not even aware since I didn't get a mail or alert from Access Bank.

Quite oddly the people I know who have a port are usually confused when I mention the need for a guarantor and kept claiming they don't think having a guarantor is part of the requirements for a standard Nigerian port.

Can you get a friend in Imo to send to the centre? Just give your enrolment number to the person & ask him/her to physically go to the centre to enquire if your port is ready or not.

Make sure that dubious officer is not aware of your action.

Is yours not anybody's if possible escalate the issues among the officers there one of them will likely attend to you.

I am also applying for a fresh port for me and my children age 3 and 5. They are scheduled for 28th of April for capturing but mine is on the 18th but due to the Easter holiday, I will reschedule mine to early May since all the days in April is filled up.
So please, I will like to know what I can use as an ID for there application since they both have an early date. Also can my application or NIN serves as an ID since they both need means of identification from parent.

I will fly in and hopefully fly out of Nigeria and come back to pick up my port whenever convenient. as long as the port will be valid on the day of your arrival into the UK, then you can use it.

there was this old Nigerian port… of it is that one you will be applying as fresh. If when u did port, you submitted finger print then it is probably the e one and then u can apply as renewal

What is wrong in going with Temitope? why do you have to go through the rigour of swearing affidavit and newspaper notification when you can easily go with what you have on your NIN,

You applied for port in Imo State in September 2021 (about 7 months ago).
1. You don't live in Imo State anymore.
2. You also claim you don't have any friend/acquaintance there presently.

My question is, how then did you meet the officer who is demanding additional 20k because the "...the Comptroller General said everyone must pay extra 20k..."?

By inference, I can put that the ONLY PERSON you know in Imo State is that dubious officer at the port office. Interesting!

Another suggestion: NIS on Twitter or Facebook, provide your enrolment number and enquire if your port is ready.

All these suggestions won't cost you a dime, just commitment.
