There are ways to dress to different functions and places. A leg chain will only you off as a core or club girl. If she wore it to a club interview, she would have been considered but in a corporate organization, it's a no no. You're required to dress properly and look responsible.

And back to the post, being her first time at the place of job, she should have removed those things. Every workplaces have their rules and laws that governs them.
Some might be less bothered and some might be really bothered by the leg chain. She has to be professional.

Living in the society that Nigeria is , one must do everything that he or she can do to prevent the interviewer not hiring you. Leg brace or nose ring , tattoo might not be an issue if you are interviewing in England- You can even color your hair blonde but In Nigeria- stuff like that might not fly. Sorry, but I wouldn't employ or give her any attention either. I see ladies with nose rings, leg chains or anklets as wild. I can only overlook it when she has hijab on (which could be taken as religious beautification stuff).
