Who are the anchor tenants of Enyimba Economic City?

eduj:
geometric energy transmission poles are also licensed and designed to carry fibre optics cables along with electricity wires.
In essence, Aba will witness faster internet speed as well.

the project is also part of the ambitious Enyimba Economic City. The plant will supply power to one of its anchor tenant (the Chinese Ruyi group)

I know of the Ruyi group, already the inner galaxy group is on ground.Rumours of a German vehicle manufacturing firm but apart from them, nothing more

And the big one, Geometric energy buys out EEDC from Aba and neighbouring environs

You just have to wonder why Emeka Offor.....knowing the ring-fenced agreement GEOMETRIC had in Aba, decided to be used as a tool by those who don't wish Ndigbo well, to frustrate economic development in a significant part of Igboland like Aba! It's a fact that when the enemy wants to target Ndigbo, they find a greedy son of the soil with low self-esteem issues to do the job!

Basically, Emeka Offor and the puppet handlers pulling the strings behind the scene have succeeded in reaping where they did not sow as GEOMETRIC now had to find $50 million loan to get rid of them!

very true. It's the constitutional right of the vice president to chair the national privatization process. sambo working through Emeka offor derailed the geometric power plant Aba. other proposed power projects like the 1000MW oma power plant also at Aba (land had been acquired and EIA report done all was remaining was financial closure ), another coal powered plant at Enugu -all to be built by geometric power was abandoned.

Geometric power ran into serious debts and had to borrow in other to service the loan.If not that his bankers where from the East ,Amcon would have taken over.

Even though Berth Nnaji's geometric power where assured of first right of refusal of the SE electricity distribution company /EEDC ,that option was never exercised by the privatization council chaired by Sambo.

Emeka offor is also the man licensed by the federal government to build the inland port at ntigha near Aba. over 7 years later,he is yet to start construction work.

It's my hope that SE governor's wake up and start helping to make investments in the SE work.

for instance, a bank whose CEO is from SE built a world class fireproof shopping plaza at Ariaria .(ekumi shopping centre) . For over 4 years it's over 500 shops where mostly dormant. People preferred to trade at the delapidated A-line Ariaria. It took the demolition of the squalor called A-line for ekumi to be sold out .Today many of those traders are content to remain there.

we've seen the rebirth of breweries Umuahia and now geometric power Aba through the governor using his bureaucratic power to help the investors, but a lot still needs to be done.

A group of local investors built a flow station at Ukwa .Part of a refinery project, it's was taken over by the civil defence corp due to license issues. The governor of the day T.a orj. refused them aid because they started the project without his permission.

Aba mega mall is today abandoned . International glass had it's equipment siphoned off by indians and today it's a warehouse for glass force. What about Abia ceramics ? held down by a loan trap given to them through the aid of a governor and Mr otti ?

we need to protect our own for more to come.

Aba is such a promising city. Potential to be the flagship Igbo city.

So sad Aba and Abia don’t have real leadership. I hope that finally changes next year and the people that have taken the city and state hostage are removed from office

the power plant is a 141 MW gas turbine plant. it will be supplied with gas through a 17km gas pipeline directly from the gas fields of owaza (Abia state).

That's self sufficiency. You use your own gas to generate electricity for your own consumption. I expect Aba to rise and become truly a great city as the first industrial and commercial city to have 24 hours power supply in Nigeria.

I really hope this happens. Would be nice to have a city that carries the Igbo flag. So many Igbo people around the world would like a mini Lagos or Abuja where they can come to in Igbo land.

But Aba and Abia people absolutely have to vote. Apathy towards voting is part of what the problem is. You can’t not care about who governs you and expect to do well.

'Abia people have no vote'. Spot on.
Abia have the population to decide national elections but bewitched themselves into thinking boycotting elections is wisdom.

the reconstruction of Enugu-ph road (aba-section) is at full flow.

currently construction work on one of the carriageway is at ariaria junction. construction work on the other carriageway is just past osisioma.

with the work done now, the osisioma flyover can at last be commissioned soon.

Arab contractors are to be commended for doing a good job and accommodating the Chinese contractor building the osisioma flyover

Arab contractors will deliver the osisioma axis of this road before the new month ends.

The state government should have awarded the contract for the flyover at osisioma to Arab contractors . Since the has the contract for Enugu-ph expressway , it would have made sense for them to handle the interchange. it will have motivated them to build from Aba towards Umuahia than the reverse. And it certainly will not have created the ime that made the osisioma flyover take this long and the proposed one at pH road abandoned

Because of the lack of synergy between both contractors, the road was raised by almost 4-5 feet while the flyover had mostly been built the end result is that extra tall vehicles won't be able to navigate under the bridge

I would love to see a state build rail connecting Aba to Owerri. This would make Aba products the standard in Owerri and make it easy to move them there in bulk, while making Owerri the choice tourist and leisure location for Aba residents. It's a win-win for both places

A look around the inner streets of Abiriba villa'.

I think at this point we can all safely posit that the south-east has most number of nice looking villages. Basically, a drop-the-mic/end-of-discussion moment.

If i were to critique one thing, i'd say there's scope for improvement on the inner road network of the villa'.
