I hope it's not unsafe for a 14 weeks preggy lady to sleep on her back so often?

I'm about 13 weeks, I sleep on my back sometimes too, haven't heard anything bad about it. But i know it's best to sleep on your side especially the left side.

Instead of buying the bottle steriliser, why not buy Milton Sterilising tablets or the liquid one to save cost and still serve same purpose and you may not use it always sef.
That's the pic below

Sorry ma'am, ensure you stay hydrated, reduce stress and get adequate sleep. Also talk to your practitioner.

Good morning my adorable mummies and moms to be in the house.

I've been away from here for sometime but am fully back now.

I wish everyone of us a safe and sound delivery. Amen

I'm 33weeks preggy, the hospital I ed here in Benin has been really monitoring me due to my past experiences (stillbirth due to HBP).

What I've been advised by our consultant is they'll monitor me till 37weeks and bring out the baby....my Edd suppose to be April 4th
I can't wait to meet my princess.

My question is.... Have any mom here delivered at 37weeks?
How was it like? Please I your contributions o

I pray all turns out well for you. You don't have any cause to worry, just pray and prepare as 37 weeks is just shy of 38 weeks and considered premature. Anywhere from 38 weeks is full term.

Mine was at 37 weeks and like 3 days. Vaginal delivery. He's a healthy 2.5 years old old now, just went to school. No complications post birth or anything. Infact, I was discharged within hours of giving birth to him sef.

At 37 weeks, almost everything is set in your baby for survival. They many just want to monitor things for a bit to ensure you'll both be fine and then let you go. All the best.

37weeks is very ok to avoid loss. Baby can survive and do well at that age outside the womb. Hbp is one of the many causes of stillborn birth. All the best dear.

At general hospital they just dip something in your urine, look at it and say you're okay, then put that round thing in your hand and also check weight. And say you're okay
Is that all?
Do they check protein in urine and hbd and other stuffs? Just asking

That thing they dip in your urine, checks a lot including the protein.
If that strip indicates any slight thing they send you for further tests.
Your bp also tells them a lot too. Don't worry general hospitals still try in regards to pregnant women, just check for the reputation of your particular hospital. I had my first two at teaching hospital and I don't have any complaints apart from the normal nurses rudeness, otherwise I was ok with every other thing.

What they dip into your urine is used to check if protein, glucose and other parameters are normal. This is called urinalysis test. The round thing should be a sphyg for checking ur blood pressure.
Most times, that’s usually all (weight inclusive) except u have complains that warrant more test or if ur doctor thinks u need more tests

From 37 weeks upward is considered full term. I delivered my baby at 37 weeks 3 days and he weighed 3.3kg at birth. No complications whatsoever and he is meeting all his milestone. All the best to you.
