If not, then go for another test because HIV is only transmitted or acquired from any of the four listed dangerous life choices.

You refuse to abstain from fornication/adultery, that's the consequences of not abstaining, my advice is to be taking your drugs regularly.

It's no longer a life sentence... Just take the drugs regularly... Eat healthy... And protect yourself to avoid reinfection...

I can share s of people who work in specialized STD units in the Southwest. They can provide medications and counseling. You'd be fine

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!! Because now you know. 99.5% of the people commenting here don’t know their HIV status. Now lock this in your head!!.. HIV is not what it use to be, thanks to the advancement in medical sciences, living with HIV is now easy & simple if you can get the right medications & sincerely commit to the program. the drug is free,just at a government hospital and you will receive free drugs.meanwhile ,hiv is not a big deal this days ,not saying it to make you happy but telling you the truth.after 2 years of steady intake of your medication,you can sleep with a woman without transmitting sef.just know that you will take the drugs for the rest of your life.

Op, I wish you the very best. HIV isn't a small thing. The so-called free ARV messes up someone a lot. That is the reason most HIV patients stop taking it sometimes. In as much as you can still live with it for years, this requires money to feed well, and get supplements. I wish you the best!

And there's something my bro told me recently about this hiv tho I'm not too sure, he said there's this injection that costs over 200k or more that if you suspect that u contracted hiv and u take the injection within two days the shot will kill the antibodies or whatever instantly, just the same way pregnancy is prevented with contraceptives

It is called PEP, Post Exposure Prophylaxis. Indeed the medication exist that can "abort" a possible exposure to the HIV Virons but this works if taken within 72hrs of exposure

And the meds are not IV but pills and they dont cost anywhere near the figure you quoted

Note that the meds are taken for 28days and has only about 67% success rate, in other words, not a license for risky behaviour as they can potentially fail

Hey man cmon it isn't the end you can live a normal life taking your drugs daily and if you're lucky it was detected early stages it can even clear if you take ur drugs correctly (as early as 3 months old) herpes is deadlier than hiv so stop being worried and do the needful btw drugs are free at general hospitals

So as your health and drug compliance Improves, they will shift you to dosage that covers for 2months or even 3months..

Drugs are called ARV antiretroviral drugs.
They are produced by different drug companies. Some arv you take just one tablet daily,

while some you take 2times daily.


Depending on your hiv clinic, tell the counsellor that because of your daily activities you prefer the ARV that can be taken once daily.. It helps with compliance..
