HIV is not the end of life.There are people who have been HIV positive for years and they are doing fine.
The first thing is to do a confirmatory test to see if you are still positive.
Get ed with a hospital, (usually government hospitals) where they have heart to heart clinics.You will be counselled and a test done to check your CD4 count.If low,you will be placed on antiretrovirals which are free.
You will need to leave a healthy lifestyle,avoid certain foods and alcohol.
Generally,you will do just fine.

This is 2022.....HIV isn't the end of the world.

If u are in Abuja. Visit Institute of human virology at their Headquarter along airport road in Abuja after ShopRite. ed with them for free medical council, treatment and medication. Been HIV+ is not the end of life.

First of all... Calm down. Hundreds of thousands of people died from Covid and you survived it. So calm down. It's not as if anyone is making it out alive anyway.
I will simply advice that you take your mind off it as much as possible, accept your status, take your drugs and live your best and happy always. Nothing is gonna happen to you.

You are finished? Because of ordinary HIV. Not cancer of the blood or some other diseases that even money can't solve. Dude, relax! You are overthinking. There's nothing to fear. I'd choose HIV over cancer and brain tumour any day.

You have to go and at the approved government centers or hospitals where people in that category comes for counselling and free drugs are given monthly

You just have to keep taking the drugs and feed well also take fruits

I just hope you can trace who among your sex partners that got you infected, so that you guy's can walk it together

But even before you're given hiv antiretroviral drugs, you must do a confirmatory hiv antigen p24 blood test. And this blood will be taken directly from a vein. Not like the one taken when your thumb is punctured.

Please go for a confirmatory test first...

I guess that should be retroviral scan.

Second, HIV is no longer as bad as it used to be. Advances in medicine has made this a condition, rather than a sickness

my aunt has been living with HIV since 2004 ,we only discovered when she got sick with her second child.
the child died due to our ignorance, after she was diagnosed and been living healthy and happy life.she bore another five children send.

I have some questions because this HIV thing is becoming annoying.

1. How come researchers don't have a permanent solution to the HIV yet?

2. I read an extensive study by Dr. Anthony Fauci (I believe you know him) and the American doctor explained how it has been nearly impossible to completely eliminate the HIV cells from human body. What has other medical scientists done since Dr. Fauci concluded this research?

3. Why does the world have to wait for the US for everything? Does it mean they have special brains in the United States? How come any disease Americans cannot treat remains impossible to treat?

4. What are our scientists doing in this part of the world? Do people just go to school and acquire knowledge to treat malaria and typhoid? Why can't one of our professors of med. science pioneer a discovery that will permanently kick HIV and AIDS out of our lives?
