In the USA even if you lose one job you can get another one reasonably soon, if you're hardworking. A functional society. Nigeria was programmed to ruin square people, it mainly rewards criminal activity.

My two cents tho

It's not that bad in Nigeria. As a senior staff working in the bank, you're supposed to have savings. You don't need to be sacked and start looking for another monthly paid job, you can as well start your own business with your savings and compensation. At least, that’s what my brother did when he was retrenched at Oceanic bank (now Eco Bank).

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Bank manager fit no better though there’s nothing like gateman in USA what u have is more of a security guard position and the gates are normally electric all u do is seat, watch cctv and press button.

That apart in developed countries there’s a contract u sign to amount of time or hours u can work in a week and it’s normally max 4 or 5 days shift of 12 hours with break .

I prefer the gateman for USA role though, majority of immigrants that take up such jobs it’s just for the first year or 2 before they balance and do sth real

Some of them always rushing to travel even by deserts are coming from villages, pitiable situations, because I don't see a reasonable man living in a thriving city like Lagos, that will choose to go become a security after becoming a bank manager here.
