I've been trying to link my NIN to my MTN sim, i keep getting invalid NIN, same NIN i used to Binance, i called someone at MTN, i was told to chill till after 2 or 3 months, that it'll have been updated by then, i ed for my NIN late last year.
Note: i fine with the NIMC app with no problem, the problem is linking with my sim.

Most of those agencies / institutions act fast when you escalate the issue to higher authorities. Anytime I have issue with any telecom service, I escalate by involving consumer protection unit. Same with bank, escalate by involving CBN. You get quick responses asap.

For telecom you escalate with NCC.

Put the subject as “VALIDATE MY NIN-NUMBER”.

I think you need to make payment to validate this. Approach any accredited NIN card center. You will definitely pay something. If after doing so, and nothing is being done. You can send your mail and copy the address posted by the OP.

When it comes to bank fraud, nothing will be done even if you escalate your travail to Buhari talkless of CBN.

I have issue of fraudulent transaction on my sterling bank since March 2020 and it's yet to be resolved even till this moment of my comment.

you right Bro. When it comes to fraud, only God can help intervene by getting swift responses. But you can press on to escalate, they might eventually by saying the fault is front your side.

go to mtn office they will update ur data on their database and link it for u. I'm sure it's been long u have been using the SIM.

If it's the app, and to isn't working after typing your NIN, it means your NIN is not validated.

what if the response I'm getting is no number associated with this nin? I have used the same nin to link my mtn number but whenever I input it in the nin app that's the response I always get

Thanks for this wonderful thread, I sent mail to nimc copying all the emails. It was responded to within few minutes and given 72hrs for the update to be carried out. Once again thanks.
