When printing out ur documents, you should have application form, payment slip and acknowledgment slip . There is nothing like 3 receipts for port application. Pls shine ur eyes, she wants to play on your ignorance

There's a court close to the immigration office at Alausa, just ask around when you get there. You'll be directed to the place. But note they resume 9am/10am that may cause a delay for you. I'd suggest you go to High Court at Ikeja GRA to get it done a day before to avoid any hassle.

The verification forms will be given to you there for you to make photocopies. They're 3 In number. If you don't mind, I can snap and share with you via email for free. As I have unfilled copies of them.

I APPLIED FOR THE INTERNATIONAL PORT ON THE NIS PORTAL AND WHILE ING, I PICKED SAGAMU OGUN STATE AS THE PREFERRED PROCESSING STATE. BUT AFTER COMPLETING THE APPLICATION AND ABOUT TO PAY, IT CHANGED THE PROCESSING STATE TO NIS HQ, SAUKA, FCT ABUJA.

PLEASE, DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE TO TRAVEL TO ABUJA FROM OGUN STATE FOR THE BIOMETRIC?

My application was rejected .. I am still waiting for my file to know the next step of action? . Am I am expected to pay another fee to re-apply all over again ?

Paid about 160k around second week of December for correction of date of birth on my intl port. Just a year difference oo! Boarded flight to and fro Abuja for about 101k. Did data capture same day at Abuja immigration office . Now I feel time is not on my side again as my port isnt out yet .. it's almost two month . Was told by my insider that alot of things has changed lately in port office and that's why there's delay .though it took time before it was approved and I guess that's the most important part so he assured that soon port would be out. I want to ask if there's anyway one can fasten or fast track my port to come out highest by next week .?? I might be lucky for it to come out next week but just wanna be sure that's why I wish I can fastrack it. Please if u know if any sure person that can do it.. kindly let me know . Thanks

I have come to testify that DIY actually works o. I initially wanted to use an agent I was referred. Infact I was at the point of payment to her when I check and saw this thread. My dear NLers, I eventually paid online on the 5th of January, 2022 and took the advise of somepeople here to go even before the appointment date. I went back to the Ikoyi port office on the 7th of January and used strong head to ensure that I submit my documents and capture that day. At the pont of capturing, I saw on the monitor facing me that my collection date was 12th of January, 2022. Come and see me smiling na.

I went back there on the 12th with the paper given after capturing and was told that my file wasn't submitted. Chai, I wan cry. I was directed back to servicom and took my file to the capturing room and they did some confirmation and I was told that it was okay. I went home but a few days after I started engaging NIS on twitter after the ban was lifted, they eventually responded to me yesterday, saying my port was ready.

I just collected my port a few minutes ago and it was actually issued on the 13th of January, 2022. I never believed that getting a port would be this quick without any bribe or mago mago.

In all, I spent just N26,500 for 32 pages.

port fee: N25,000
Paystack processing fee: N1,000
Notary public seal: 500 ( This was done at the mobile court inside the port office)

My dear people, please and please, do this thing yourself. Let's all play our role in eradicating the deep-rooted corruption prevalent in our government parastatals.

I can't tell for now since my file has not been released. You know all these civil servants ,they won't tell you in details.onky that it was rejected. Still waiting for the file to release so that I will know the reason for the rejection.

It’s a cold breezy morning in the ancient city of Abeokuta.
I woke up very early, so I can get to the immigration office , before the morning rush begins, but I couldn’t meet up.
Now I am Sitting in the hall waiting for my fate at the immigration office Abeokuta.

I met two person’s who captured on the 25th of august last year and they just picked up their port. I asked them both if they paid for fast tracking and they said no. Although they wanted to pay , but they decided to hold on a bit.

I captured on the 27th of August, let’s hope today is gonna be the last day am coming here to check for my port. The last day I will hear , their office anthem (who’s the officer helping you?)

I haven't been out of Nigeria before, but the way corruption thrives in every nook and cranny in Nigeria is alarming. But what can I say!!!

An average Nigerian turns a blind eye to corruption if it favors them and they call it divine favor, but if it doesn't then we begin to rant!!!
