Yes! Apply for the emergency. I got a date within 12 hours of applying. I almost gave up and thought of deferring after reading that dude’s post here.

The 221g is istrative processing. The VO needs to confirm some information she has given from the backend. From my experience, majority of 221g comes positive while I have seen other denied too.

Let her keep praying and I hope all the information she provided is valid. If yes, there is no need to worry.

Yes I had to defer my ission from January to April cos I did not get my transcript from my school quick and got my acceptance and I-20 first week in December….. I was so lucky on Saturday to get February 1st as my interview date was so happy that atleast I don’t need to apply for Emergency date..

Same thing was experienced on Saturday when a friend was trying to create new profile. Send a mail to them with your full name and email address and state the issue. They will create a profile for you and send your name and which you can change immediately you .
