You also need to factor in the stress if you want to use Manchester. Also, depends on your load. You might not be able to carry all your load into a train. Hence, you are limited to getting a cab. Train tickets range from £28-£35 for off peak periods. Cab will cost over £100.
Do the maths and go for the one that pays you.

do you have insurance on your phone or with your bank ? you might be able to make a claim instead of paying out of pocket

Those are good places to look but you have no protection from facebook marketplace. Also avoid gumtree for things like that- you them on bulk items or service you can pay after- there are not intermediaries just you and the seller going back and forth if something goes wrong

195 works out less than £40 a day for 5 days a week. That is a steal and a great deal. .. There is no cheap childcare. That word doesn't exist and no government benefits for a non citizen who just came and there is no free school for under 3 for someone who just came

Why not use the airlines you don't need a transit visa for. Transit is between 40 to 50k and takes two days.

You could always stay back in Nigeria and not pay [much] tax.
