I graduated from a Nigerian university with a very good result and I wish to further my education oversea. I do not have complete five credits (as per UTME requirement) for the course I want to study in postgraduate. My question is; is O'level result with minimum of relevant five credit es in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB a compulsory requirement for processing Msc ission Abroad?

Actually, I am new on this platform and I do not know how to pchat. also, I have been to the bank to confront my officer on that same Thursday but he doesn't seem to know his job coz he said there's nothing he can do. I have called the person that initiated the process, he ask that I call him back after the close of work tomorrow. Not sure how that will help.

Pls I need advice and opinion

I got an offer from Coventry University for a January start date but I’m still waiting for London Metropolitan because of cheaper tuition though I applied for LMU even before Coventry. Now the issues are:

1. It’s almost a month now since I applied to LMU without response though typically their response should have been around10-15 days as stated on their website. Should I be worried?

2. Can I fund my while waiting so the 28 days can continue reading even before I pay deposit to apply for CAS?

3. My elder brother is in London, can he pay my deposit in pounds over there or do I need to pay from my own ?

4. I hope time is not against me to go through all the processes of CAS and Visa application for the January start date.

On issue 3. It is better u pay with your own or confirm from your school that u are allowed to pay through a proxy(your brother).
Many schools are strict on this and will never record a payment for you if it was made through someone else. Goodluck.

Madam, what I said is very correct. Many schools have different policies on acceptance of WAEC, payment method, payment by use of proxy etc and he should his school to confirm what is applicable to his school.

If tomorrow, he has issues in getting acknowledgement of tuition fee deposit, will u resolve it for him
will the school accept his excuse that someone on Nairaland adviced him to pay through a proxy

Don't push someone to make a mistake that u will be no where to resolve.

This is false. Provided your student ID and full name are stated as the payment ref, I don’t see how there’d be a problem.

Check University of Huddersfield and University of Hertfordshire. They do on some MSC Programs

Please I need advice on what to do about my Deposite payment that is being delayed by GTBank. I submitted my form A on the 5th of this month and on the 21st I received a call from my bank that it was returned due to insufficient balance which turned out to be a lie because I still have money in the . Now I have been told that the process will be fast-tracked but I don't know how many days to wait and the Branch does not know either.
Please can I withdraw my money and use UBA quickly since I have people who are said to have used UBA and got a telex copy within 3 days.
Has this happened to anyone here??

Applicants can pay using ppl in the UK with no issues whatsoever whether by card or bank transfer. Waec is not the same thing with funds

Anyone should be able to pay. As long as the person gets to include the reference I.e Name and student number.

Of course your POF should be running already. It must be ready before deadline date if you want them to issue CAS. If not, they might withdraw your offer.

Use Access, heard it takes just few days. People that use GTbank wait for weeks.

1. Please house, am I the only person having problems booking a date on the IOM website for the TB test? I'm just getting the reply that the schedule i picked is not available. Pls how can I go about it?

2. Secondly, I'm about to fund my tomorrow for the proof of funds. The tuition for Coventry is 16600 and the initial deposit on my offer letter is 4000 then 4000 to be paid before I resume and the 8600 balance by next May. The issue now is I've calculated living expenses at 1334×9 = 12006. Now the issue is, will the POF contain the 4000 expected before resumption + 12006 for living expenses or it will be the 4000 in january and the 8600 in May?

3. After putting money in the can I still be using the for my normal person use which might involve withdrawals and lodgements without affecting the balance required for POF?

4. I still await response from LMU as regards my application because of their cheaper tuition but I'm funding my POF with the mindset of Coventry so I won't be left in limbo, what stuffs should I get done while I wait apart from POF and TB test?
