Applied with my kids and I got my visa since last week.

Today, one out of the two kids was moved to VAC as today is 15 working day.

This after I got a non straight forward mail for my second child from pretoria

What could be happening?

I already buy tickets for everyone for Thursday evening.

Can I do a paid call or not necessary?

We have similar experience
We did biometric on the 26th of August. Priority for me as main applicant. the rest on standard
Got a NSF mail on the 1st of September
I didn’t get any Decision mail even while the decision was taken on the 21st.
I got collection mail on the 24th late friday.
We got decision mails for the rest 4 of the family on the 26th a Sunday.
On getting to TLS on the 27th only my port was ready for collection.
Waiting continues till we got collection mails for the 3 kids very late on the 30th of September unfortunately the next day was a public holiday we have to wait till Monday October 4 to pick them.
We have been waiting but No collection mail for their mom.
We have all received the brp mail. You can imagine the harrowing frustrations.

During term time you can only do 20 hours so this 6pm to 1am has to be worked not more than 20hours. During holiday you can work everyday self

Been trying to get a date for biometrics in Ikeja since this evening. Can’t see any. I selected self service but can’t see any date. All am seeing is Sold. How can I get any available date. Although i intend to do walk-in. But na to get any date is the issue. Nov has not been opened yet. What can I do differently?

Please becareful with this option. I used the legal guardian option in 2011 with all legal document i knew but was denied visa despite having 75% scholarship. They say their was not letter from Federal government or federal authority to show that the person has adopted me.

I recently got married and my wife is yet to change her name on her port. Although she has other change of name ing documents like sworn affidavit and newspaper publication together with our marriage certificate. We tried to start the process of changing the name on her port but it looks like something that might take a while before it's sorted .

We plan to apply for visa soon and I want to ask if its okay for us to go ahead and apply with her port in her maiden name while attaching all the documents mentioned above.

Also, will she able to do a change of name from the UK when her port expires next year?

Please I need anyone with good information to please respond.

Don’t do that, get your school to update the CAS. Don’t show any evidence of extra funds paid. These case workers are weird, they’ll ignore those said ‘proof’ and instead say you have insufficient funds in your which equals instant visa refusal.

An 8 yr old travelling from Nigeria to the uk needs day 2 and day 8 test+ 10 days quarantine

Let her apply with her maiden name as shown on her port for both ission and everything, but during her application she should mention you as her dependant (if she’s the main applicant) and submit those evidence, you will also attached those evidence during your application as well. That’s what my friend did, she and her husband just picked up their visas today. Good luck
