Your friend should try to do another nimc registration. I did registration three times and at three different centres before I could finally have my nin. It can be annoying and frustrating at the same time.
But, after I finally got the slip, I noticed it was the picture I snapped at the first centre I ed that came out with the nin slip.

5years ago is 2016. Some of us ed in 2013. What were you saying about having a reliable database 5years ago? The Nigerian port isn't it on an electronic database? Or are you saying that too isn't reliable?

When I went for nimc registration in 2014, there was nothing like come back later. Once you are done with the registration, you get slip instantly.

It was a but organised than what we have now. I.e my height was measured.

There were people who started the registration at home and where directed to Nimc centre to complete their registrations. Your friend probably falls in this category

Not quite correct. ed in 2013 and what you initially got was a temporary print out that didn't have an NIN. You had to come back for the permanent one that had an NIN a few days later

Really?! We are talking people's personal data here and they should just send that to some unverified person claiming to be NIMC employee? I'm sure NIMC employee have better training about this

I obviously don't have an idea what to say but I know he would get needed help here.
Bayo(not real name) called me telling me he went for NIMC registration 5 years ago, he was given a tracking number and was told to come back days later. But he never went because of reasons best known to him.

Now he needs his NIMC card for important stuffs and has been to NIMC office twice,he gave NIMC officials the tracking number but they said it wasn't bringing up any info( just showing a blank page).

He asked if he could afresh again,he was told No,that he can't twice since his info is already on the system.

Now he said they said they don't know what to do and that he won't be able to get an NIN slip until his details appears on their system and they don't know when that would be and what to do plus why didn't he show up for that long.
Has anyone experienced this before?

if yes,How did you go about it?

since it over 5 years he should use his BVN to print it out instead of trackingnumber, if he was in lagos or ogun would have direct him to someone that will print it out

Please I need the person's . Lost my slip and I don't know my NIN but I know my BVN.

It’s because there was no network in the computer system the day they ed him.
Obviously it wasn’t saved.

If you have been issued a NIN and they say it is not verified yet, kindly send an email to including your name, tracking ID & NIN to [email protected] and ask them to validate your enrolment. I had similar case and was advised to do that and it was resolved. Just try and send before 9am anyday that you are sending and a Monday is also a good day.

Your friend should go for a fresh and new one.

They should re- him using CR-MOD, most of all this NIMC officials knows what to do, just that sometimes they are too lazy.tell him to visit any Glo office to get it done

They've blocked all the B36 version of the NIMC software. The only one working now is B39 and its doesn't come with CR modification. how do you suggest they do this?
