I got my i20 from WIU (spring 2022) a few days ago.

Today, I scheduled for the visa interview and my birthday was the earliest available date. It's going to be a double celebration for me by God's grace.

Please is there a group chat for those that are looking for us appointment/interview date. I’m searching for a date for october or november or even december in lagos. The trick of just refreshing while looking at the left side where calendar apparently has been discontinued/or maybe it’s just not working for my page. Your appointment date and School deadline is too close. Best you defer ission to spring after visa approval and request for updated i20 else you'd be returned at POE if you don't have any official letter from school detailing your late arrival.

Have finally got an EA appointment date in September 7 and my school Has resume already August 9 but have defer till spring January 2022 requested for an update in my I20 which will be delivered probably next week or before my interview in Abuja. Please should I take the old i20 along for interview or the update one that will sent to me and quickly update my ds160 also before my interview?

Are you guys using form A from banks for paying school fees abroad? I would like to know your experiences and which banks that have been used recently and transaction was faster, cos I hear you have to wait 3 weeks or more with some banks. Thanks I'll really value your input

I'm a software engineer and I got accepted into an internship program in California. I applied for visa with my husband. We got married nine months ago. Exchange programs usually require that you have a visa sponsor, so you pretty much do all of your documentation with them first. Then they you on the SEVIS database once you have competed all your documentation.

For the records, the marriage certificate we submitted was the one obtained from the mosque where we got married. And I didn't change my name after I got married.

Initial date scheduled: July 2022

First expedited request was submitted on 14th of July and it was rejected. I guessed it was because I didn't attach any document. Then I read online that you need to attach DS-2019 and SEVIS fee payment receipt. So a colleague in the US helped me with the payment and it reflected on the portal after three days because he used the mailing option. I sent in another emergency request and it was approved after one week.

I actually intended to study Computer Science but due to how trash the program is in Nigeria I opted for Mechanical Engineering.

Please, I canceled my appointment after I deferred my ission. I got a response today that my EA has been approved. Now, I can’t reschedule cos I’ve exhausted the number of times I can use the MRV. What can I do?

When you to the CGI portal, you should be able to reschedule immediately your EA is approved.

I used Sterling Bank, it was a lot of stress and documents but it was processed in less than 2 days.
