Very shitty bank. I’m sure it was because of Access bank that sporty bet had to add a new security layer. Because the number of people that we’re getting scammed through sporty bet was getting crazy; and 95% of the time access bank was the culprit.
I personally know 2 people that were scammed through sporty, both were access customers.

That is simply not true bro! Even with the Security at the back of the card, there is still a landing page where your Otp soft token is expected to be imputed into. The Otp will be sent to your ed phone number. And this is coming from an Access Bank customer! If you do online transactions and they debit you, go in to one of the bank branches and rectify that! No bank as far as I know allows debit for online transactions without a token!

Using their mobile app as a criteria for their effectiveness is foolhardy. Almost all banks these days have very good mobile and online transactions. I have 3 s, namely zenith bank, GTBank and access bank and I can tell you the GTBank app is better and more refined.

GTBank app is nice, true but they also have that loophole on their USSD Code of not having a PIN Authentication before entering the interface whether for recharging your line, other lines or doing other transactions too! Also, in my presence at one of the bank branches, fraudsters hacked into a man's and he had to come to the branch to block the card! So you see that USSD Code used by banks is a problem for people and a loophole for fraudsters without two factor authentication. The offline that has the bulk of my money has that!

Go to their ATM wuth your card and activate iPIN and be safe with their ATM. Nothing es through digital market without asking for phone token.

Besides, if you have such issues with specific websites, go into one of the bank branches and complain, I have never had such! That landing page is piece of mind but a two factor authentication with another app providing the special code with a no forget option will be better! I rest my case!

PS Most of my funds is in an with two factor authentication and no USSD Code, unfortunately restricted to 4 withdrawals per month, if not, no interest for that month!

That was how my was wiped when pickpockets stole my phone and even use my SIM to borrow money .
Those guys used all to buy recharge card and transferred to different SIMs.
Access Bank needs to step up their tech security.

I agree. 3 fraudsters I have encountered uses Access Bank. One succeeded in defrauding me and I reported to Access bank with all evidence while the N450K was still in the ....... The bank didn't move an inch to assist, they were reluctant as if I should complain and get the fxck out.

When I had security issues with my access , I simply wrote them to close my and stated the in another bank they should transfer my balance to, the guys at the branch started begging. It is not by mouth, it is by networth.
It is only online that unfortunate nobodies like you can talk nonsense. If you see who you're talking to, you won't try such in your miserable life.

Misplace ur fone and that's all.

My uncle was a victim last year as well. His fone was pickpocketed and all the money in his acct was wiped out and those fraudsters also went ahead to take payday loan of close too 100k and trust me Access bank was not helpful at all in retrieving the money plus the payday loan was automatically deducted from his next salary.
They couldn't even trace the bank acct of the recipient

It was actually a long tussle plenty of mails and in fact legal battle before the money was reversed inclusive of the payday loan earlier deducted.

Trust me that was one of the reasons I made up my mind neva to use my Access and my Old Diamond acct again.

I have been having my Access bank compromised before the proliferation of these POS guys. Back then, it was only Paga and I never even used it.
I suspect you see trying to deflect attention from this issue because you are one of the criminals stealing customer's data and funds.

Not unique. Some other banks have this quality. The major thing is financial security. Based on my experience, First Bank mobile app seems to be the best in of security.

I told him, you guys should return my money before I swear for all of una. And I hung up.. Lol..
Within 24hrs they credited my back.

I never had this kind of unauthorized debit issues with diamond Bank but ever since they took over, na so.

I don't but I will even be surprised they can defraud you more than $100 on such websites due to CBN forex limits for non-domiciliary s! Two, the fact that it is an international website does not mean such landing page will not come up except if it is an unsafe website, which is your responsibility, not the bank's!

Two Even with that landing page which is common for both banks, a two factor authentication like that of Piggyvest either with a secret question asking for an answer you only know or with another app giving another code with a no forget option except digital reset of the at the bank branch or the use of the six-digit transaction PIN on the app is the solution in my opinion (the last suggestion doesn't even require a capital outlay for banks, just few lines of code for that extra information) and same should hold for the more porous USSD Code whether you want to recharge your line or not. So with this, no bank in Nigeria is truly safe so, we are all fvcked anyways. Sorry to burst your bubble here!
