When I was in 300level, this particular course Lecturer was disturbing me. Oga failed me oh .
I went to his office with my Aunty who's also a Lecturer to plead with him, all fell on deaf ears. When we were even leaving the office, my Aunty said,"Who are the people sleeping with this ugly thing sef?".

Without all these experiences here, our approach to solving this menace would be one sided and would be little or no results. We have to understand that in our schools today especially public schools (even secondary schools), many lecturers and teachers have become sex predators and many students have become sex manipulators and seducers.

When I was in secondary school, I know of some of my female classmates who were not intelligent getting good grades in the subjects of some male teachers.

Some of them rewrite their papers in the male teacher's bedroom in case the scripts are asked by the principal or others so as to prove that they wrote well.

Some already get the questions and answers before the exams.

When I was in school, a lady who was family was a cheerful giver.
We have to understand that not every lady value their bodies these days. There are some who have realized that they can use sex to get whatever things they want and they are sex as nothing.

1. I suggest that Distance learning should be encouraged more in our learning institutions like it is being done in OAU, ABU Zaria, NOUN etc. This will reduce the physical interactions lecturers have with students thereby reducing the rate of sex for grade.

2. Lecturers within public institutions should be swapped. Learnings, course materials, exams, tests etc should be centralized in public institutions.

The FG should make this happen like how JAMB, WAEC and NECO is done. When we do this, lecturers can be swapped amongst public institutions to invigilate and mark these papers.

So that your yeye lecturer can be sent to another school to invigilate and mark other people in the same course he takes in your school. And their place of posting can be release for all to know like a month to the exams so that they will not have the time to go and do groundwork.

Will he demand for sex from someone he is not familiar with or will a female student seduce a lecturer that has no power over her results?

3. Vice Chancellors, Rectors etc in public schools and the public institutions themselves should be made to suffer some penalties for every sex for grades issue in their school. This will make these institutions and their heads to be more interested in the welfare of their students and make the lecturers more able, committed and scared because no one will like to cover up a lecturer and receive punishments instead.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments about the politics and dirty business ongoing in the banking industry, it's worthy of note that I am on about we not defaming people who are yet to be proven guilty in all standards and even before the law.

I was also an insider and had worked with 3 out of the current top 5 banks in Nigeria before bowing out.
