In 2006, as a minor, 16yrs old, my mother had applied for a UK visit visa for myself and two of my siblings to go on a Christmas holiday, we were refused due to insufficient fund. Now, I wanna study for MA, reapplying after 15years. The issue is, there was an error on my then int'l port, my year of birth was wrongly written, also my first name was written as second name. Although, after then, I've had two other ports with my correct year of birth/names, which also reflects on my Original Birth Certificate. Please what do I do when applying for a study visa, looking this might pop up? Even though I was a minor in 2006 and I have no access to the port, my parents misplaced it.

I want to apply with my husband and my baby as dependant. We were previously refused for UK visit visa in April dis year. My husband was refused for not being in receipt of income from his employment and business. I was refused because my husband was refused and my baby was refused because her parents where refused.
Someone advice I applied alone. Then my family can me later. I have enough pof to cover for me and my dependant. my baby is still an infant, I can't travel without her and I need my husband to go with me to so he can help me with the baby. Wat do you advice I do. Will applying together be an issue. Am confused

Before you travel to the UK. You should buy the test kit, you will need the reference number to enter the UK

I guess your rep has added Visa fee (348pounds) plus priority fee (220 pounds) together and then she converted the total to Dollar ( times 1.5xxx)

348+220 = 568pounds then * 1.55 = 880 Dolls

Note that as Naira to Dollar fluctuates, Dollar to pounds also is not fixed

Please help. I am filling a visa application and I noticed the question on maintenance/bank was not part of the questions on the visa application. Please what could be the problem.

Visa approved for my wife and I. My son's (2 years old) port still pending. When I was preparing for the process, that was when it was difficult to get Nigerian ports. So I used my Son's USA port to apply. I am guessing this is the reason for the delay (its 13 days now). I submitted all the required documents for a minor; birth certificate, letter of consent signed by his mom and I, POF in my name etc.

I know it will come out sha.

I also used a foreign port for minor IOM and plan to use it for visa application soon. Meanwhile has anyone else done this @ boldened? Please share your experiences.

The interval was about a month. Payment got confirmed on the 26th ofjune , i did pre cas on the 20th of this month.

I don't see this as a major prob since you were a minor then and the mistake in your port has been corrected

Priority is £220. I paid with dollars and what I paid was $302. This was just 2 days ago. Please read up so you don’t swallow everything they tell you hook, line and sinker.
