you are correct, secondary education board is under state, same salary with teachers. There's nothing like SECONDARY EDUCATION COMMISSION, I guess you are referring to the one at water resources, area 3.

The only confusion here is where he said you can be posted to other states because of:
1. As the website indicate it's like board in charge of FCT secondary schools which I believe is in existence.
2. It may be Unity and Federal Govt. Colleges He's referring.

Relax Sir. I really don't know if there is or there is no such Board but Education generally is on the Concurrent List, meaning both States amd FG are involved. Or do states manage the numerous Federal Government Colleges in the country? Even Primary Schools that are being managed by States and LGs has the FG controlled Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB)

I just got an insider information about FIRS. It’s just an info I got. No way to but I believe the person. He said FIRS has not recruited anyone and might likely not recruit anyone. As he’s talking to me, the organization is in deep shit due to lack of money. Some of their allowances self they are not sure that they would get it cuz of no money. Their target as at last month was supposed to be 45% but they were only able to recover 24%. He said the chairman caused all these. In a bid to please people in the last recruitment, he recruited too many people hoping the fed govt would increase their something I have forgotten the word he used but they were supposed to increase the something to 7% but uptil now it’s still 4%. so the ones he recruited before were just too much and paying salary is going to be a big problem especially if he recruits anyone again. Chances of recruitment right now is very very slim. But he said nothing is impossible. But not to put too much hope for now. the chairman is trying to clear the mess he is in. Recruitment is the last thing on his mind.

you might be right. Firs recruited way too many people last year when the new chairman got in. I visited thier office sometimes last year and everywhere was filled up. Up till now the man haven't paid upfront to the new intakes and I don't think he might be paying anytime soon.

FiRs pays like 250 for basic, no allowances yet for the new intakes though. NCDMB salary too is decent pays 200+ excluding allowances but cbn does not pay up to 150k, though you are entitled to lunch allowances or some stuff like that total per month isn't up to 180k (including the lunch allowance).

"cost of collection" is the word you forgot. He planned with 7% but NASS retained the former 4%
