Pay him his salary! Him being a contract staff does not mean he shouldn't get paid. That's what these ruthless employers do, the next thing, they say you're not their full staff. Am I not doing your work?
Pay him!
He is no fool, he already decided to dump the shitty job

there's a saying, that when a goat is pushed to the wall, it may turn around to bite whoever is chasing it. The guy knew he'll most likely end up getting sacked, but heck, didn't care. Claims should be investigated and if verified, should be paid.

Part time staff wey dey read major news in a big station. It mean, he is one of the best. He deserve to be paid seamlessly. He is already frustrated. It was a planned shocker with the colleagues.
KingAzari:
You dey owe or not? Leave English for Mama Charlie and her people.

Typical African political approach to everything, they avoided the salary indebtedness entirely and ranted a bunch of incoherent gibberish.

Every worker deserve their wage - part-time or fulltime.

Drunk behaviour!

I'm certain he and others might have expressed their dissatisfaction off-air at the management over delay in payment of their salaries, and were not satisfied with their response. Taking it to air may be his last resort so that attention from the public would be drawn to the matter. He might have done it inadvertently.

I'm also certain the staff owed were not happy with their current financial situation and the KBN Tv management might have worsened the situation.

Evil African employers will not pay their employees but expect them to put in their best, even on an empty stomach.

Africans are cursed tbh

And his fate afterwards is dicey....the publicity would either bring him good tidings or other TV houses wont ever touch him.

One good thing about life is while those in South-East are making headway, you're stucked in hatred against them, they won't see you.

At least you aren't solving anything, but compounding issues via ethnic conflicts.

Reality truly is stranger than fiction.
Reminds of 1976 movie the network where the news anchor during a live broadcast announced he was going to kill himself.

Lol maybe he's a fan of the movie.

Hope you woke up on the right side of life this morning?

This is Zambia, not South Africa. Even at that, what connection do a president hav with non-payment of salaries of staff of a TV station?
