This shouldn't be about race or colour. The major difference between the two you compared is economy and standard of living. So many Nigerians are living below poverty lines and some are forced to sell off items for temporal sustenance.

I get irked when I see those outrageous amounts on items that are excessively used but then I wouldn't blame them much. From my standpoint, it could be considered as greed but to a seller, it is his/her only way of buying the next food items.

I know someone who wanted to sell one of her home appliances to someone and had already spent the money of the item in her head before the person actually came to pick it up.

Nigerians are good people and lack is the major reason for the "greed" we all point out. If everyone had more than enough, I am dead sure most will give out freely and wouldn't even wait till the item is almost out of commission. We sell everything because there is no money. Some truly want to give out but their pockets can't just afford that luxury for now.

The only GREEDY people you will see on this thread are middlemen who are not just contented with the amount the real item owner will give them from sales but making extra monies from each items sold. I am also glad you acknowledged people are going through a lot and Nigeria is hard at the moment and that counts.

I have a few words.

It's quite funny how buyers want to impose prices on sellers. I understand that this is a clearance thread but we should look at things from other perspectives.

If a person sells his items at 5 naira and the normal market price is 3 naira, then he decides to do clearance of his goods and he lists them at 3.5 naira, that is clearance sale. His clearance sale may still be more expensive than the normal market price but it is clearance sale non the less.

I think what we can do is, if someone lists an item and you know where it can be bought cheaper, you can reasonably alert the thread.
In my opinion, trying to impose prices of goods on the sellers on items you didn't buy for him/her is a lil short of folly.

It's because you are guilty of the same behavior that's why you are trying to justify it.

Go and open your own thread and declare your product clearance there.

Imagine how person dey talk.

If market price is lower than your own clearance price, we should let it be. Read your post slowly, get popcorn and coke, Does it sound logical to you too?

The microwave goes off half way into microwaving anything you put in. Like you set the timer for 5mins, when it's 4mins it goes off.
