The period you pointed out saw an increase of over 300%, but people could generally afford.

So it's not just a function of the actual increase in price, it is also has to do with how the government has so mismanaged the economy that generality of the masses are finding it hard to meet up with daily expenses.

i bought Horbit bread i used buy at N350 for N400 on Sunday. And i learnt Preston which sold at N400is now N500 and big Horbit which was N550 is now N650. I am sure the notice has not yet been enforced. We are in for it!
