How quickly can a bootloader be unlocked and the IMEI of a stolen phone changed? I want to know what my chances are.

If your MI is active, Bootloader cant be unlocked. the Phone cant be downgraded and Cant be flashed through fastboot due to the Bootloader, If the theif is flashing through EDL, he would need an MI Authorised , which is very expensive to get. If he wants to by the MI Cloud, he has to live the VPN for the rest of the Lifes Phone, VPN would keep shutting down from time to time. he wont enjoy it. but its still tackable if you can to ur MI .

Other phones are working quite alright, I'm using Airtel WiFi here and it's going fine,the phone definitely has a slower network processing speed.not Airtel's problem

I think the thief has gained access into the phone. My mi on the phone has been signed out due to my lack of tact. He would have to change the imei now else the police would find the phone after a sim has been inserted and call(s) made.

I'll just have to get a new device later.
