Who has used questtrade here?

I'm currently looking for a platform where I can trade options. I sent them an email. They accept Nigerians. But they want me to pay 245 canadian dollar for ID attestation.

Has anyone done this before?

you are lucky, us using Nigeria fintechs are just managing ok back to business, since you have trading 212 watch the stock $PLX currently at $5 dollars pfuda this month but if they postpone it do not panick a new date will be giving, the stock has potential of over 100% gain pt $10 or $15.


note: this is not a financial advice do dd , like i said before biotech stocks are down so it might not work but thankfully healthcare is part of biden's plan so biotech might see a bounce .

As for me I started with Yahoo Finance and Zacks, and was playing around with their screeners. I was also able to develop some technical analysis on weekly chart, using Bollinger bands (I happen to be a swing trader and not a day trader).

Then I stumbled upon stockcharts dot com. Here they have features where you can automate certain technical or fundamental parameters and then run the scan. It then returns those stocks that meet your defined technical analysis criteria. This saved me alot of stress using Yahoo Finance.
P.S.: It's a monthly subscription, but the first month is free.

And this has been my weekend routine ever since then.

To add to what you've said, another good site is finviz.com - although as with other screeners, you must first know what you are looking for.

For example if u want to screen for a penny stock that went up at least 5% today, On finviz dot com I would suggest u go to the screener, select "all" so u see all the criteria on the same page, for price select "below $10", for volume select "above Bleep (I would suggest 1 million units so u r sure u can enter and exit ur trade easily)", for relative volume select any number from 1.5 upwards (the higher u go, the fewer stocks u will find) and u will find a sizeble number of penny stocks that went up at least 5% today. U can then use yahoo finance or any other stock website to research each stock to see why they are going up, and to decide if it's a trend for a good reason or it's a pump and dump.

You can also modify the different sections to get stocks meeting more specific criteria. Just my 2 cents

The reason why i abandoned them is because of their expensive service. I will advise you still do more search and DD for possible alternatives.

The banks are seriously fighting back. After decades of complancency and lack of innovation, they are realizing the rug would soon be pulled off their feet. Look at all the attacks on fintech. What they don't realize is that the clock is slowly winding up on them. MTN has already shown that Nigerians and companies may not need traditional banks in the future

Depends on which side of the table you are on. The S&P 500 has been setting new highs everyday this week. Nasdaq is already tinkering with a new record high.

Tech stocks are currently cheap compared to last year. Infrastuture stocks are primed to run based on Biden's plan. Retail, travel and entertainment stocks are growing fat.

This is the time to roll up the sleeves and dig deep and not just wait for FAANG stocks. The market is broadening out. Just a position after DD and sit tight.

Can the fintech CEOs come up with a system where bitcoin buying and selling stocks can be via BITCOIN especially using BTC Transfer.
Cos I still think SEC next move won't be so dissimilar from wat CBN did, which is banning banks from receiving or transferring funds for stocks.

There are all markets. Trade stock options if u want fast paced returns. Even higher returns than crypto for a shorter amount of time.


Trading is basically a game with or against time.

Buy and hold is with time. Options, crypto trading, forex is against time.

Chose the 1 ur risk level can sustain.

You can ask your friend to open Interactive brokers or TD Ameritrade . These are apps you can open and trade with in Nigeria.

He should open with his name and every other details. You send him money which he will fund the with and send you the details. After trading you withdraw to his and he will inturn send the money back to you.

Depending on how you trust your guy. It will work
